Hey! We're Moms in Business

A chance meeting

I, Lisa Paller (Working Moms Realty), met Dr. Rai Harris (Skyline Chiropractic), at a pregnancy workout class in 2018 when we were both pregnant with their first babies. Neither of us had started businesses yet and we had both just moved to Chattanooga from out of state.

Fast forward to 2022

We joined forces again, adding in a third member, Lisa Norman, owner of That Elderberry Lady, to try and connect local business owners/moms in their community. At first they held events for moms with their kids -- but what happens when you get a bunch of moms and kids together at a park? The kids go running off in a thousand different directions and no one gets to actually talk! Thus we switched to an event for just the moms. It is an event that many women look forward to- almost like an outlet from life as a business owner and life as a parent. Sure, we talk business and about our families, but the heart of it is to connect women in similar stages of life and provide them with an opportunity to be together and learn from one another.
